Today it was revealed that the fourth installment in the Uncharted franchise would be released in 2015. The new installment in the series is being called “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” which is clearly a nod towards the ending of this series as Naughty Dog has openly said that this will be the last uncharted game ever developed by themselves.
Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End takes place eight years after the third installment in the franchise. He is clearly an older gentlemen ripened with age but still has the cunning skills that he once did back in his prime. Fans have been rejoicing towards the announcement of this new installment, the trailer gave so much away while keeping so much a secret at the same time. It is clear that Naughty Dog wants to round off this series in a way that they have never done before in one of their IP’s.
Naughty Dog also revealed that they are working on a brand new IP as well as creating a sequel to the last of us. Both of these new games will be running on their new software and will keep the same gameplay styles that fans of Naughty Dog have grown to love.
