The Xbox One, a video game console released less than a year and a half ago has finally been able to do something that it has been seeking out for twelve months. The Xbox One was able to defeat the Playstation 4 in sales, not only did Microsoft take out Sony in the US but they also did in the UK as well. This isn’t shocking though as Microsoft lowered the price of their new console to $350 which was the price of last generation consoles only a couple of years ago. People flooded the stores in the US & UK to purchase of the Xbox One Assassins Creed Bundle & Advanced Warfare Bundle.
Microsoft also revealed that the $350 price tag would remain until after the holiday season, allowing for gamers to get their hands on the incredible console for a cheap price tag for a long period of time. You can be ensured that many children will be receiving this as a present under the Christmas Tree. Microsoft is clearly proud that their console is finally starting to make headway as the Xbox 360, the father to the Xbox One was the most popular console on the market for nearly a decade.
This doesn’t mean that the Playstation 4 won’t be able to still stand as the powerhouse console that it is. Regardless of what others might say the Xbox One is a home console, not a video game console. The new Xbox caters to an array of audiences while the PS4 stands out to the core gaming audience. So for gamers the Playstation 4 will also be the best choice, it’s just that $350 price tag is just to juicy to pass up.
