The Nvidia Shield is considered to be a mobile gaming tablet that allows for users to stream astonishing games from the comfort of their hands. This is done through Steam, a computer program which sells almost every new video game available on the market. Unfortunately it seems that with the release of their latest model their having to recall it back to the manufacture. The reason for this is because the new Nvidia Shield is overheating an incredible rate, so much so that users have begun to complain of their hands burning after only forty minutes of use.
This is surprising considering that the last two installments of this device have run smoothly without any overheating issues. Nvidia added a more advanced graphics card as well as processor in their latest model so that newer games being released for next generation consoles can still be streamed through the Nvidia Shield. It seems that since their isn’t a good enough cooling element within the core of the Shield, it’s overheating far too quickly. This is why Nvidia is recalling all these products and designing a better cooling element for the internals, once the issue has been resolved those who owned the current edition of the Shield will receive the new edition. This could possibly mean getting a major upgrade that would’ve cost more than the regular Nvidia Shield.
Those wishing to purchase the two older editions of the game can do so by going to their local electronics store such as BestBuy or Wal-Mart.
